Alella is the neighbour town of el Masnou 15 Kms north of Barcelona.
It is located close to the sea by the Serralada del Litoral natural park. The Costa Brava is the name of the coastline north of the Maresme region, at around 50 minutes by car from el Masnou. It starts in Blanes and ends in Portbou, by the French border.
But not only that. Around one-third of the Costa Brava and the Pirineo de Girona (Girona’s Pyrenees) is occupied by natural parks. A total of eight natural parks make it possible to visit from snowy peaks to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean Sea, all within a short distance.
